India Eisley will be starring in '' My Sweet Audrina ''

Lifetime is staying in the V.C. Andrews business.

The network has greenlit a TV movie adaptation of Andrews' 1982 novel My Sweet Audrina, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Based on one of Andrews' few standalone books, the gothic psychological thriller centers on Audrina, a young girl with an inability to recall past events in her life. Living in her family's secluded mansion, Audrina is kept alone and out of sight and is haunted by nightmares of her older sister, First Audrina, who was left for dead in the woods after an attack. Everyone in her family knows the secret surrounding First Audrina's death except Audrina herself. As she begins to question her past and her disturbing dreams, the grim truth is slowly revealed.

India Eisley (The Secret Life of the American Teenager) has been cast as Audrina. Revenge alum James Tupper will play Audrina's father, Damian, and William Moseley (The Royals) will portray Audrina's love interest, Arden.

Mike Rohl (Reign) will direct the script, written by Scarlett Lacey (The Royals). Dan Angel and Jane Startz (If There Be Thorns) will exec produce, and Harvey Kahn (Flowers in the Attic) will produce. Everywhere Studios and Jane Startz Productions will produce My Sweet Audrina with Front Street Productions.

Lifetime has found great success with Andrews' Flowers in the Attic series. The first film drew 6.06 million viewers and a 1.9 rating with adults 18-49 in 2014. Star Ellen Burstyn was also nominated for an Emmy, a Screen Actors Guild award, and a Critics Choice Television award for her performance. The fourth installment in the series, Seeds of Yesterday, aired last month on the network.

Eisley is repped by ICM Partners, Justice & Ponder and Felker Toczek. Tupper is repped by UTA, United Management and Jackoway Tyerman. Moseley is repped by APA, Intellectual Artists Management and Ginsburg Daniels.
